Event Information

REGISTRATION DEADLINE:  Sunday, June 23, 10 p.m.

 

THURSDAY, JULY 4

Gloucester Pool Cruise – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Using your own boat, follow a knowledgeable guide through this beautiful and historic part of Muskoka’s waterways.  Cruise past iconic Muskoka lodges, summer homes and boathouses and watch as boats get a trip on the one-of-a-kind Big Chute Marine Railway.  You’ll also get a unique opportunity to tour the Dunsmoor boathouse with some very special boats and then wander through the Sandy Kennedy Outboard Motor Museum.  Then head on to the beautiful Severn Lodge for a picnic boxed lunch.

Departure point:  Port Severn Park

We encourage you to trailer you boat to this event from your lake or  home. An excellent ramp and free parking are available at Port Severn Park

Ticket Price:  $35.00/person

FRIDAY, JULY 5

Lake Muskoka Cruises – 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Join others as they take their boats on either a FAST CRUISE or a SLOW CRUISE around scenic Lake Muskoka led by a knowledgeable guide.  Then enjoy a picnic boxed lunch at the Port Carling Locks. 

Departure location/ramp: Port Carling Locks near the Muskoka Lakes Museum

We encourage you to trailer you boat to this event from your lake or  home. An excellent ramp and free parking are available at Hana Park, Bailey St, Port Carling.

Ticket Price:  $35.00/person

 

Muskoka Discovery Centre Tour – 2 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.

Muskoka Wharf, Gravenhurst

You’ll have full access and a guided tour to view their amazing galleries which tell the Muskoka Story including two brand new exhibits:  Misko-Aki which shares the story of the Indigenous peoples of this area, and the newly restored Wanda III, one of the few surviving steam yachts which has now been converted to electric power.  In addition, make sure that you visit the Grace & Speed Boathouse – North America’s largest collection of in-water classic antique wooden boats (accessed through the museum.)

Compliments of the Muskoka Discovery Centre who has generously opened the doors of the museum to us for this event, this is a FREE EVENT but REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

 

 

Segwun Tour and Cocktails – 5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.

Muskoka Wharf, Gravenhurst

Tour North America’s oldest operating coal-fired steamship which was built in 1887, then enjoy a cocktail from their fully-licensed bar.

The Tour is FREE but the cocktails aren’t….sorry!  REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED

Dinner Cruise – 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Muskoka Wharf, Gravenhurst

Enjoy the stunning scenery and a delectable three-course dinner aboard the beautiful Wenonah II – a recreation of a vessel that would have plied these waters in 1907.

Traditional Caesar Salad

Choice of:

6 oz Top Sirloin Steak served with Red Wine Jus, Seasoned Oven Roasted Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetables

or

5 oz trout served with Garlic Lemon Butter Compound Butter, Seasoned Oven Roasted Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetables

Stuffed Yellow/Orange or Red Bell Pepper

Gluten Free Grain Medley (Rice, Quinoa, Buckwheat), Grilled Vegetables, Marinated Tempeh served with House Made Tomato Sauce on Side, Seasoned Oven Roasted Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetables (gluten free and vegan option)

SATURDAY, JULY 6

Lake Rosseau Poker Run - 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Embark on a fun run around Lake Rosseau in pursuit of a winning poker hand.  You’ll stop at four distinctive Muskoka cottages to pick up your cards and then receive your final one at the lunch stop at the end.

Lunch at the Port Carling Locks where the winning hands will be announced.

Departure point:  Port Carling

Trailering information: to encourage people to bring their boat by trailer

Ticket Price:  $35.00/person

Each boat will receive one card at each stop.

If you’d like to improve your chances of winning or you’ve got guests in your boat, extra hands can be purchased for $10.00 each.

 

Boats4Sale and Nautical Flea Market – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Canadian Raceboat Hall of Fame (just outside of Bracebridge)
