2025 Spring Shop Tour

Boating season is just around the corner which makes this a great time of year to tour the shops of some of central Ontario’s most talented and dedicated boat restorers and builders at this year’s Spring Tour on Saturday, April 26.
It has been a busy Winter and the boat shops are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to see what they’ve been working on. A few days before the event, participants will receive a Boat Shop List, complete with addresses and driving directions so that they can plan a driving route.
Event organizer and ACBS-Toronto President, Jeff Titshall made the rounds recently to the shops involved – it was a full day considering that there are over 10 shops participating this year. Several are in the Muskoka region (Gravenhurst, Bracebridge, Port Carling, Milford Bay, and Huntsville). In addition, attendees will be able to drop into the Canadian Race Boat Hall of Fame in Bracebridge for a preview of the new facility.
Lunch will be at the Canadian Raceboat Hall of Fame, at 1512 Muskoka Road 118w, Township of Muskoka Lakes, between 11:30 and 1:00. Catered by Jessica Anderson of Home Food Solutions, a culinary graduate who trained at a Michelin Star restaurant in France. The lunch features a choice of two pasta dishes, Fusilli with Sausage, Broccoli, and Parmesan or Penne with Chicken, Sun-dried Tomatoes, Mozzarella, and Basil. Sides include, a Classic Caesar Salad or Garden Salad with choice of dressing, and Garlic Breadsticks. Dessert options are mini Carrot Cakes with Cream Cheese Frosting, mini Chocolate Cakes with Chocolate Hazelnut Frosting, and Cheesecake Slices with cherry/chocolate/ caramel topping. It’s a fabulous time to enjoy a delicious meal, meet up with familiar friends and make some new ones while you re-fuel your engine for the shops you want to visit in the afternoon.
The cost for the Boat Shop List and Lunch for members of ACBS, TSACBA, MLAOC & Manotick is $50.00 for Member with lunch is $50, Non-Member with lunch is $60. If you’d rather just do the tour and skip lunch, the ticket price is $20.00/person. Children under 12, 1/2 price for all tickets.
